In recent years, the quality of graduate students becomes a hot topic. Different period and different types of graduate students exert corresponding demands and requirements. So we should analyze those different stages and different types of postgraduate education for striving for recognizing their characteristics more on the basis of holding overall quality of postgraduate education. This paper chooses the master'degree of educational management as the research object, and select the theory of degree value as theory basis, then investigate every aspect of practical training of EDM( Educational degree of master). As a type of professional degree, EDM has its singularity and representation of problem. EDM is a kind of professional degree which is based on specific managers and teachers of elementary education, it is set up for further improving modernize level of teachers, further promoting the development of teacher professionalization, and enhancing the degree stage of teachers in terms of requirement of our elementary education and the object of education development in the 21st century. In the last several years, the quality of EDM is always a hot topic that people focus on. This paper will stress on every training aspects of postgraduate education of EDM, investigate and analyze its educational object, curriculum design, teaching approach, the construction of the tutor team, dissertation and academic activities, and ensure each training section could carry out scientifically, effectively and legitimately. Thus it could embody the values of setting the professional degree of EDM, and push forward it develops properly.This study is according to the train of thoughts develops as following:The first part is introductory part, which expounds the background of topic selection and study significance, defines the purpose, thought, research approaches and some main conceptions of this study.The second part is theoretical study, which analyzes and expounds the core theory___ the theory of degree value. Through analyzing its connotation, manifestation and the differences between academic degree and professional degree, and then expands on the value of the master'degree of educational management.The third part is the investigation of the master'degree of educational management and analyze the data acquisition. Using questionaire survey for postgraduate students of the master'degree of educational management of a normal university in nearly 5 years, and obtain valid data, then expounds and analyzes the problems in each section of its training process.The last part uses American's standards of advanced teachers for reference and analyzes the characteristics of EDM in America. To combine it with our educational standards for teachers which will be close to becoming reality, expound its instructive meaning for the development of EDM, and then analyzes the problems in the training process of EDM, makes every effort to put forward some proposals which are in accordance with the development of the master'degree of educational management today.
