Research On Teaching Management Quantitative Evaluation Of University Departments

With the promoting in the popular process of higher education, education scale is constinuously and quickly developing. So to ensure educational quality have become increasingly prominent. Department is the main body of school running, the basic unit of managing teaching activities, implementing the rules and regulations of teaching management, securitying the quality of teaching and students. So, its management level has a derectly impact on the overall teaching quqlity of schools. Therefore, it is essential to design a scientific and reasonable index system and expand the evaluation for evaluating teaching and management of department.This paper firstly defined the content of teaching, teaching management and teaching management index system, then analyzed the teaching management status and characteristics of uneversity departments. Then according to the undergraduate teaching standards made by ministry of education, carry out the basic principles of teaching quatiative evaluation index system for ordinary colleges and universities, and then constructed a more scientific, operational index system for department teaching and management evaluating based on the management practices, at the same time, adopt AHP and fruzzy comprehensive method to evaluate it. At last, combined with special quantify item based on college features to constitute the quantitative evaluation model of department of ordinary colleges and universities.Establishing the teaching and management index system and implementing evaluation have a very important role in strengthen and improve the teaching management of deapartment and university. This paper has some theoretical and practical reference in teaching management quantitative evaluation of university departments.
