Fuzzy Set Theory was created in1965by Professor L.A.Zadeh who is a famouscybernetician in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of California,Berkeley, till now, it has been48years. With the continuous explorations and joint efforts by theacademics and experts from different countries around the world, the research achievement ofFuzzy Set Theory and its application are pretty rich. It not only expands and develops the classicmathematical field, but also can effectively solves the complex problems of large systems whichthe classical mathematics can’t do, and the common fuzzy problems of nature and daily life.Logistics management in colleges and universities is a complex and huge system; there are a lotof influencing factors. Especially in the comprehensive evaluation of university logisticsmanagement and modern university canteen bidding decisions, there often exist some fuzzyproblems such as easy qualitative evaluation, difficult quantitative evaluation and manyboundaries is not clear. The purpose of this paper is to do an intensive study on comprehensiveassessment for the logistics management in colleges and universities and modern universitycanteen bidding based on the fuzzy theory. The main works are as follows:First, there are lots of factors which influence the evaluation of logistics management incolleges and universities. For these problems, the author researched and proposed a kind of fuzzycomprehensive evaluation algorithm. This algorithm firstly divided the factors influencing thelogistics management in colleges and universities into nine subsets. To each subset, this paperadopts three different first-level evaluation models to do the first-layer fuzzy comprehensiveevaluation. Then as for the subsets, to do the the first level second layer comprehensiveevaluation. After doing so, put these three first level second layer fuzzy comprehensiveevaluations together to do the second level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The experimentresults show that this algorithm can solve the problems of the comprehensive evaluation of thelogistics management in colleges and universities.Second, in view of the problems of existing multiple objectives and standards, and fuzzyfactors of the decision evaluation in the modern university canteen bidding decisions, Accordingto the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Weights Process, this paper proposed a fuzzy decision modelto solve the modern university canteen bidding problems. The experiment result expresses thatthe model offers an effective decision method to the modern university canteen biddingproblems.
