Under the increasingly competitive situation among colleges, the subject of how to improve teaching quality and how to enhance the competitiveness becomes more and more important in every university. As an important part of college teaching quality management , the evaluation of class teaching quality plays a positive and fundamental role in improving teaching quality. Evaluating class teaching quality sensibly, objectively, comprehensively, and fairly is vital to master the situation of whether the teachers perform their duties, and to distinguish the different quality and teaching levels of different teachers, and to incite the teaching positivity, and to promote teachers to improve their teaching method so that to improve teaching quality, as well as to make sure the fully development of students. Consequently, the colleges are doing their best to construct a perfect and reasonable evaluation system of class teaching quality.The traditional comprehensive evaluation, usually, consists of two elements: the index system and the evaluation methods. Three stages have to be performed to accomplish the evaluation, data processing, determine the index weight, and comprehensive analysis. Due to the uncertainty of description in each stage, traditional method cannot achieve better results. At present, the widely used evaluation methods contain fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and AHP. It is very appropriate to apply fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method contributing to the ambiguity of evaluation during the course of teaching quality. Using this method, the weight of each index plays a decisive role. The weight of fuzzy evaluation is usually given in the light of experts' experience, which is inevitably subjective. AHP is a much believable method which combines both quantitative and qualitative, to minimize the mistakes brought by subjective impression.The author combines the advantages of these two methods together, determining sub-goals and index weight through AHP, and evaluating teaching quality with a multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. What we will do is to establish the hierarchical relationships of classroom teaching quality evaluation index system and find the combination of weight vector and weight vector with AHP. Class teaching quality evaluation system includes the students' teaching evaluation index system, peer teacher evaluation index system, expert evaluation index system and self-evaluation index system. We establish the evaluation model using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation for students' evaluation system, peer teachers' evaluation system, experts' evaluation system and self evaluation system based on hierarchical relations and the weight vector. According to the established evaluation model, we obtained evaluation results of actual case analysis. The results show whether the index weight is reasonable. We can get the results of both the overall and single-factor evaluation of classroom teaching quality by using AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Through the work and the overall evaluation results, we can foster advanced models and incite teachers to do better; through the work and the single-factor evaluation results we will realize which factor need to be strengthened. As a consequent, people give reasonable advice so that teachers can improve their teaching quality. At the mean time, we can rank the quality of teachers.
