The Study On Development Of Outdoor Experiential Training Industry In GuiLin

Outdoor experiential training, as an important component of education and training system, more and more domestic enterprises realize that the difference about the talent and management distance is the mainly gap between them and international companies, so more and more domestic enterprises and institutions attach great importance to all levels of staff training.With the diversity of training demands of domestic enterprises and the development of training content and form, outdoor experiential training, from the western, entered China in 1995, and it keeps on rapid development in China.Since 2005, the foundation of Guilin's first outdoor experiential training institutions, the trend of its rapid development forms a surge in Guilin. In this context, Guilin outdoor experiential training industry research and analysis of the current situation and propose relevant measures, the industry has important practical significance.The author has some experience and practical basis outdoor training industries in Guilin and Zhengzhou. Through the communication with the experts within the industry, entrepreneurs, and outstanding coaches, and students, the author has got a large collection of first-hand information.Through the intuitive understanding of Guilin's outdoor experiential training Industry, the thesis analyze the gathered information by using related industrial economics, industrial organization theory. What's more, it also puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures.This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter introduces the research background, meaning, object, research ideas and methods.Sorting out the developing process of outdoor experiential training and distinguishing the relevant Concepts, Chapter two attempts to define the concept of outdoor experiential training.Outdoor experiential training, in particular site on the natural environment or artificial outdoor experiential training by the coach involved in organizations designed under the guidance of outdoor experiential training courses,, refers to the experiential learning as the core. Through personal experience, insight, team sharing, the summary and promotion of the organizers of outdoor experiential training courses,all the participants can improve their personal qualities and it's also an approach to enhance a team management.In the scond, by applying PETS, the thesis will propose an analysis on the macro-environment of outward-bound training industry in Guilin, which includes four aspects—political and legal environment, economy, society and culture, and technology. Currently the four factors above do help increase the industry; however they do also bring many problems along the way, such as the lack of relevant policy and regulations, ignorance of differences between Chinese and Western culture, and relevant technology. Meanwhile, the analysis on the consumer market of the industry is added into this thesis with the reference of practical findings gained at the writer's daily work.The part three is to present the development history and current status of outward-bound training industry in Guilin, and by the application of SCP mode from the theory of industrial organization, to emphasize analyzing the structure, conduct and performance of the industry. The structure of the industry, under the action of market competition, has been rationalizing, market decentralizing, entry barriers lowering and products unapparently differentiating.There are several creative points and key points of the study on the industry in this thesis. Firstly, the thesis is written by referring to vast of documentations, visiting a great number of industry insiders, straightening of the development history and redefining some concepts of the industry; Secondly, the thesis analyzes the macro-environment of the outward-bound training. The conclusion can be described as "The prospective of this industry is bright, which is not a white lie," said Li Gangyou, the greatest in this field. Thirdly, through SCP analysis method, the thesis emphasizes analyzing on the industry structure, conduct and performance, and also presents some relevant suggestions which can be provided as a reference for the study and management among organizations of outward-bound training industry in Guilin.
