The beginning of the teaching career is not only a key period for teachers' developments, but also a period which is full of difficulties and challenges. This article is based on the previous researches on entry adaptation of novice teachers, and the author tries to explore the entry adaptability of the novice art teachers in primary school.The author makes a questionnaire about the entry adaptability of primary-school novice art teachers. The methods of ONE-WAY ANOVA and bivariate correlation analysis are used to the statistical process. The author focuses on the influencing factors of the comprehensive occupational adaptation level of the novice art teachers, and its influencing factors. The followings are the conclusions:(1) Comprehensive occupational adaptation levels of the novice art teachers in primary school are high. From the specific five dimensions, the level of interpersonal adaptation of the novice art teachers in primary school is highest, followed by the professional identity adaptation, then the professional culture and vocational skills adaptation, and the lowest is professional psychological adaptation.(2) According to the analysis on factors influencing the comprehensive vocational adaptation level of the novice art teachers in primary school, it can be concluded that 13 factors have significant influences on adaptation level:namely, professionalism, whether he/she is the leader of the class, career beliefs, the guidance of senior teachers, practice effect, teaching conditions and facilities, urban and rural differences, induction training, whether full-time, the principal's care, management system, family support, friends' care.(3) Through analyzing the influencing factors and the dimensions of the novice art teachers in primary school, the specific factors affecting the adaptation level can be obtained. And these factors are analyzed and discussed one by one.By studying the data analysis and entry adaptation level of the novice art teachers in primary schools, the article offered the novice art teachers in primary schools proposals for entry adaptation. This article is expected to help the novice art teachers change their roles from students to teachers successfully, and adapt to their teaching career expeditiously.
