Teachers at the basic requirements, the number of personnel proportion is small; Gender and age structure are more reasonable, specialty structure imbalance, Education background, professional title structure still needs to enhance, the attitude of Education scientific research is negative, some teacher can not correctly recognize the purpose and academic level is low; most of the teachers can realize the importance of training, but the urban middle school can not put enough emphasis on training of physical education teachers; teachers in the stability is the content what urban middle school should focus on reinforcing.2) The configuration of sports meet the basic requirements, but configuration of high requirements of the venues is not enough, such as indoor hall and natatorium, and equipment equipped with insufficient, maintenance and update slowly.3) Sports and health education still need further reform. Attitude of Girls is not enough optimistic to sports' and health teachifig in urban middle school; most physical education teachers can have a good understand about "the physical education and health course standard", but the implementation is poor; on the setting of PE, practice lesson number can not conform to the requirements in Graduating class's, health theory course are both poorer; and there is certain gap between teaching and new demands of curriculum reform.4) Extracurricular sports activities insufficiency. Development situation of the Sunshine sports is unsatisfactory, the majority of middle school students cannot be guaranteed with a hour activity time, implementation situation of two Radio Gymnastics is not optimistic, especially Morning Radio Gymnastics is poorer; Extracurricular sports training and competition in form and content are more one fold, and show some formalized phenomenon.5) School sports management is slack. Management agencies established meet basic requirements, leadership can not make a correct attention, grass-roots management organization can not play the functions, and management personnel of venues and equipment is deficient, management system to carry out the situation is bad, inspection and evaluation are imperfect. In addition, based on the realistic problems in urban middle school sports, taking the education pedagogy, management, reform and sunshine sports related documents spirit as the theory basis and combining the reality, put forward the following countermeasures: optimizing teachers, improving team stability; increasing sports funds investment, make rational configuration of sports venues and equipment; carry out in-depth physical education teaching reform, make the comprehensive sports teaching evaluation; seize opportunities, enrich extracurricular sports activities content; form a sound management institution, formulate and implement the perfect management system.
