Now there are a series of junior high school geography teaching in insufficient, social value degree is not high, some education administration departments have defined it as a "minor course". In this case, geography resources are insufficient.The enthusiasm of teachers and students is not high, the students just "copy-paste-delete" to the knowledge what the teacher taught.These can not lay good foundation for the subsequent high school geography study. And the game with its rich picture, vivid learning resource, improve school education and the learning interest.It make the students ascend the geographical science literacy in the process of game.In this paper, the research situation were emphatically discussed after studying vast literature education game at home and abroad.The ecological problems of the southern region is the breakthrough point,useing RMVX as the Making games software, through the learners, learning content, learning goal and the basic theory of game design to design and develop the education game "across the south".Reference the concept of conceptual design, immersed theory, game theory of cognitive, game awakening. Summarized the education game design factors. Combining the current education games against the MMOG became fashionable for a time, and then come up with the design strategy. Exploit an education game of geography knowledge for content, make learners better to master relevant geographic knowledge, improve degree of attention paid to geographic study, forming a good emotional attitude values.
