To act on international convention, general technology is developed as a technology course, which conforms to the times. Because of new and extensive characteristic of the course, teachers can't engage in teaching jobs very well. With the development of morden educational technology, computers are brought into classroom, which changes the traditional model of teaching. With the popularity of computers in teaching in China, not only computers are brought into classroom, but also new curriculum standard in high school puts forward new requirements for information literacy of students. Our country also pays attention to the influence on students'learning content, learning method, and teachers' teaching mode for using computer, and our country takes educational technology as powerful tools for student learning and solving problem. People expect the tools can change students'learning method and make student interested in learning.Combining with the teaching practice, author found the traditional teaching can not adapt to the teaching of general technology course. This strategy fits most of the schools' multimedia teaching. Based on the characteristic of general technology and PPT, this text puts forward teaching mode of based-on PPT in general technology classroom in high school and the design of the PPT for general technology curriculum, as well as analysis of teaching cases.This text discuses teaching strategy of general technology, and sums up new based-on PPT teaching and strategy of general technology.
