Research About Contermporary Emeployment Problems In College

With the rapid development of china's economy and the steady deepening of the reform of the employment system of college students, the fact that it is difficult for college graduates to find a job has become the focus problem of the social,it is especially influenced by the enrollment expansion of colleges which started from 1999. The number of students scheduled to take the national college entrance exam has declined in each provinces year after year and it's not able to face the employment issues after graduation can be one of the reasons.Under such background,analyzing the problems of undergraduates in getting a job and finding out the reasons for the difficult employment situation and giving the corresponding solutions not only have important realistic significance on helping the graduates to strive out of the difficulty,but also have a positive impact on maintaining a sustained and healthy development of higher education.Based on the present achievements of research, this paper has elaborated the undergraduates'employment situation;compared the undergraduates' employment situation and that of the planned economy times;analyse the reasons for the difficult employment situation and give the corresponding solutions.The main points of this thesis are as follows:Introduction:it mainly discusses the significance and background of this issue and the research method.Part1:It mainly analyses the undergraduates'employment situation and explains two concepts of " employment " and " undergraduates' employment".It makes a brief rewiew on the history of undergraduates' employment after the foundation of China which are the "government-planning assignment"in planned economy times to the "two way choice"recently. And it makes a intensive analysis of undergraduates'employment situation.Part 2;It analyses the reasons for the difficult employment situation in the respective of society,school and graduates. The social factor includes: Firstly,the unsmooth employment. Channels.which include the nonstandard of the job market, imperfectness of the personnel system. and unsmoothness of the job search approach. Secondly,the imbalance in economic development.of eastern and western cities. Thirdly the employer's non-rational, high demand.The reasons concerned with schools including:Firstly.the subjects of the higher education are out line of touch with the society.Some schools did not consider the market demand when they set professional courses and some schools blindly set hot major.Secondly, expantension of the employability of the college have an effect on the capatity of employment. Thirdly, many collges ignore the vocational counsel,which reflects not only on the fact that they are lack of systematic and normative work.but also on the fact that the instroctor's specialification needs to improve.The reason on the part of the students including:firstly, with the poor psychological diathesis and the poor practical ability,the graduats has poor comprehensive quality.Secondly,students always have high expectations on employment and they always want to have a secure job in a large-scale enterprise in metropolisPart3:Based on the previous analysis,this paper makes a propositionon current employment of collage graduats.The main points are as follows:Firstly, government shold strengthen macro-control and the guidence.improving household registration and encouraging the students to start their own business and working in organisation on basic level. Secondly, employing units should set up the correct view of employment that It is best only when they fit you, not necessarily the experience or the high educated people.Thirdly. the universities should arrange the coures reasonably and deepen educational reform,moreover they should strengthen the vocational counsel and the coorperation with the enterprise.Forthly.the college should improve the quality of graduats in every aspects and help the graduats change their job-hunting intention.
