| With the development of economy and the reform of unit system, the people who were only belonged to units before gradually transform into the ones who will be belonged to the society or the community. Some functions which were originally undertaken by the units gradually transfer to the community. As the life space of urban people, the community plays an important role in everyday. As an important force in the develpomennt of the community, community elites play an increasingly important role now.With the development of urbanization, the demolitions are prevalent in a certain range in urban communities. Because many interest groups are involved in the demolition, the contradictions and problems are also common in the demolition. Lots of community elites come from the residents whose houses will been demolished, and they protect the legitimate rights and interests of the residents and mediate with the investment and financing management centre of the old city renovation and the office of demolition in Lixia district. Based on the consideration of influence of community elites, the thesis is a case study from house selection in the demolition in G company Jinan D community. With the help of the Process-Event Analysis' research stategy, the thesis analyses community elites how to influnce the process of house selection.For the whole frame, the thesis is devided into five chapters.The first chapter is introduction. It introduces the backgroud, the meaning, the method of the research and the method of information collecting about the thesis. Inspired by the "The Process-Event Analysis' research stategy from professor Sun Liping, the thesis attempts to describe the event of the house selection in the demolition in G company of D coummunity, and reveals the influence of community elites in the process of the house selection in the demolition. The thesis collects data by the method of paticipant observation and non-structural visit to do the research in the demolition.The second chapter is literature review and related theories. It combs the researches about the influences of coummunity elites in rural and urban area and the researches about the demolition. It reviews the related theories such as the theory of Group Pressure, the theory of Assumptions about Economic Man, the theory of Conlict of Simmel, the theory of Multiple Elitismetc. The third chapter is the control power in the "The Process-Event':the influences of coummunity elites. Firstly, it introduces the backgroud of the community and the G commpany and the demolition, and then it descibes the influnrence of community elites in the process of the house selection in the demolition,which includes the establishment of the leading group about the demolition, the mediation with the investment and financing management centre of the old city renovation and the office of demolition in Lixia district, the encouragement of giving up the the house selection in the demolition and the mobilization, the control of the process of house selection.The fourth chapter is behind the invalid house selection:the influence of community elites. It discribes the community elites how to struggle against the investment and financing management centre of the old city renovation and the office of demolition in Lixia district by construction of common intrests, construction of leading group, strategies of emotional control and scene control, all resources they have, in order to prevent the unreasonable house selection in demolition. In this chapter, it concludes the meaning and the performance and the results and the strategies of the influence of community elites.The fifth chapter is conclusion and discussion.The invalid house selection proves that community elites have the capability and potentiality to protect the legitimate rights and interests of residents whose houses will been demolished in future. Our government has to confront the challenges from community elites and has to learn how to do in future demolitions. |
