China is now undergoing the special historical period of economic and social transition. The reform of internal administrative systems of public universities has become one of the hot issues attracting the attention of the whole society. The effectiveness of the reform of internal administrative systems of public universities directly affects the development of all aspects of universities.Firstly, this thesis analyses the theoretical basis of the reform of internal administrative systems in public universities during the transitional period of China. Secondly, the thesis reviews and analyzes the history, status and problems of the reform of internal administrative systems of public universities in the transitional period of China. Meanwhile, it analyzes and refers to the experience and inspiration of the reform of internal administrative systems of foreign universities.
