Since the first group of rural migrant workers went into city to be engaged in non-agriculture industries in 1980s, the total number of these workers has now come up to 150 million in China. Having made great contribution to urban construction, they desire to settle down and become a member of the city by their own efforts, so as to share the convenience of the city life and perfect public services. It is an inevitable trend that rural migrant workers transform into urban citizens in the future, and this transformation is also the leading way out for farmers, one of the issues that concern on agriculture, farmers and rural areas. The long-playing Dual Census Registration System implemented in China has brought about great differences in sharing welfare, labor rights, children's education, housing etc. between rural migrant workers and urban dwellers. Although rural migrant workers contribute a lot to urban construction, they could not enjoy the equal rights which they should be treated. If their equal rights still get no guarantee, it will lead to a certain extent that this group dissatisfied with the status. When this discontent accumulated to a certain stage, they may be through crime, suicide and other extreme methods to prove the existence of the vulnerable groups. When this happens, the problems of rural migrant workers affect the social harmony at a certain extent and hinder the process of urbanization. In recent years, the rate of rural migrant workers' crime rising, rural migrant workers suicide cases,'creative rights' and many other negative phenomena is a true portrayal of the status. Thus social turbulence would be caused, and the process of socialization may be hindered accordingly. Therefore, in order to change the present census registration system, balance urban and rural development, safeguard social harmony, and promote social construction, it is of great significance to inquire into the whole matters of the rural migrant workers' present living status quo in city and of their integration into urban life.In light of the current researches on rural migrant workers' problems both at home and abroad, and taking Blau's Social Exchange Theory as the backbone, the writer of this thesis analyzes the problem of rural migrant worker' urban integration from the perspective of urban fusion. Including that social attraction theory suggests that the power source of peasants work in the city, in the theory of social rewards that intrinsic rewards on the importance of rural migrant workers into the city, effects of social structure on the rural migrant workers integrate into the city. At last, through analysis, it finds that only by taking shared values as guidance can the problem of rural migrant workers' urban integration be solved and the statement of social transformation realized. And on the basis of Blau's Social Exchange Theory, the writer proposed countermeasures and suggestions of rural migrant workers into the city.
