The Analysis Of Path Of Registration Of Rural Migrant Workers As Permanent Urban Residents At The Present Stage

Urbanization is an inevitable generally trend of social and economic development, is the inevitable requirement of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, but also to achieve the proper meaning of socialist modernization. To achieve socialist modernization, we need to keep achieving modernization of the people, urbanization contribute to realizing modernization of the people at this stage. Currently, registration of rural migrant workers as permanent urban residents is the core part of the development of urbanization. Third Plenary Session of the Party’s eighteen proposed that we should accelerate reform of the household registration system, conduct in an orderly way, and endeavor to ensure that all permanent urban residents have access to basic urban public services. Meanwhile, the comparative analysis of urbanization development status of foreign development experience as well as China’s urbanization, focusing on the experience of Brazil as the representative of the developing countries as well as United Kingdom and United States as represented in developed countries and the enlightenment to registration of rural migrant workers as permanent urban residents. Combined with China’s specific national conditions, focusing on analysis of new problems and situations after the country’s central and western regions in towns and small cities full liberalization of household, and gives some reasonable suggestions. Application of Marxist theory on the relative surplus population, reveals the inevitability of rural migrant workers.
