With the development of market economy status and China's sporting nation gradual establishment, development of sports goes vigorous in China. As an important group of athletes, professional athletes for sports development in China made great contribution. But the problems of professional athletes after the retirement employment began to gradually restrict the development of sports. People started to pay attention to the personal development of professional athletes, among the many issues cultural education is particularly prominent. The level of cultural quality, not only restricts the level of exercise techniques, but also the re-employment when retired, what's worse, the problem also relates to the construction of Sports Teams and the cultivation of socialist builders and successors. But the reality is present in the training of athletes'nationwide system environment, culture and education system of athletes unreasonable, cultural and educational situation is worrying. Through a combination of questionnaires, statistics and expert interviews and other means, the author studied the situation of cultural and educational on the badminton team of professional athletes in Beijing , to explore the causes of professional athletes in Beijing badminton team. The result is not ideal. There are several reasons for it. From an objective point of view, the existing education system is unreasonable. For a long time, China has been adopting the system educating the athletes by the sports culture and education system, whose shortcomings is that the leading light weight training school, training and competition time deprived a large number of cultural learning time, the other, as opposed to professional training, cultural education is lack of educational resources and teachers are in need, curriculum is unreasonable and so on. These objective conditions play a negative role in the progress of achievements. From the subjective point of view, both the managers and coaches, or the professional athletes themselves, the emphasis on culture and education are not enough, they are lack of cultural learning initiative and enthusiasm. And the managers and coaches have no corresponding cultural and educational oversight mechanisms, which leads to the weak cultural foundation of the professional athletes and the situation of the low level of cultural quality. In view of this cultural and educational status, and to promote sports in a comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development, to thoroughly implement the scientific concept of development, and to promote the comprehensive development of athletes and the sport of powers made by the sports power forward, the author are giving some reasonable suggestions on institutional reform, culture and education system, and the athletes themselves building and policy aspects of laws and regulations.
