As the curriculum reform of the quality education and elementary education was carried out, and Curriculum Standard for Sport and Health and the Circular Nine were issued, physical education teachers in primary and middle school will be demanded more higher. In terms of training aim, the college undergraduate students of physical education major are the main sources of sports teachers in primary and middle school. Therefore, the teaching quality of college undergraduate major in physical education will decide the fate of elementary education reform, enforcement of CurricularStandard and Circular Nine. The construction of college teaching material is an important part of improvement of college teaching quality. Reexamination of knowledge system and contents of school physical education as main courses of college physical education major is very important. Document system, survey system are mainly used in this paper. By looking up the relevant article, books and some rules and regulations, this paper shall review the development history of school physical education, and summarize some basis of content knowledge system of school physical education. By making up and analyzing the questionnaires, I find the following conclusions.1. The school physical education is the compulsory course. From the questionnaires, 85.1 percent of sports teachers and 82.9 percent of teachers think P.E. Major must offer school P.E. curriculum, which is helpful to physical education, and they think it can not be replaced by other curriculum.2. School P.E. education can not satisfy the requirement of physical education teaching now. According to the questionnaires of physical teachers, 60.2 percent of teachers think that the school P.E. education can not satisfy the requirement of the P.E. teaching practice now, and think school physical education is not practical sometimes, some skills are mastered after teachers began to work.3. The knowledge system of school P.E. education shall be rearranged. The survey results find that 94.7 percent of teachers think the school P.E. shall supply the new contents from the overall evaluation of the professional teachers. This proportion is the highest. Moreover, the proportion of restructuring the content knowledge system is 73.3 percent. Lastly, the practical application of knowledge is 68.4 percent.4. There are some rarely used contents by physical teaching and rarely noticed contents by sports teachers in current knowledge system of school P.E.5. Sports teachers shall attach importance to the curriculum development, the development and utilization of curriculum, the process of teaching and so on.6. According to the survey results and the requirement of rules and regulations, the contents knowledge system shall add some knowledge points. Therefore, I initially reach a new framework assume of school physical education based on survey data, and finally reach a new framework structure by evaluation and modification of relevant specialist.I hope that the study of this paper will provide referenced theoretical foundation for the construction of l school PE teaching material, improve the teaching quality of college and teaching abilities of physical education teachers better than ever before, and better adapt the students of PETE in higher education institution to the basic education in the new situation to make a contributions to our country's cause of physical education.
