Recent years, the "After 80" group arrouse the concern of the whole nation. There are many reports on the Internet web and newspapers. Some people appreciate them but some criticize. Nothing can change the foreward pace of time, in 2010, the oldest of the "After 80" group are 30, and the youngest are 21. Growing up after the reform and opening up, the "After 80" generation witness the development and prosperisty of the Chinese nation. Nowadays, the "After 80" group gradually become the major part of employees, they have been playing an increasingly important role in many fields and undertaking the duty to rejuvenate our nation. The young are the future of our country and the hope of our nation. In the variance of social structure as the macroscopical social background, the lives of the urban "After 80" employees attract extensive attention of the whole society.The innovation of this paper is that:to begin with, this research take "Life Satisfaction" as the research pespective. With the economic development, it reveals lots of problems that using the GDP index to measure the level of social development and inhabitants' lives. Recent years, the Party and government pay more attention to the livelihood issues, "Life Satisfaction" has become an important index to weight the level of social development. What's more, in term of research contant, the present papers about "After 80" are mostly related to only some fields of the life of "After 80", such as work, love and marriage, entertainment. There is few paper about the life satisfaction of the "After 80" group as a whole. However, the present papers about "Life Satisfaction" are mainly in connection with the elderly, students, teenagers and so on. The research about "After 80" employees are not enough. The last, for research method, present studies majorly use the method of qualitative analysis like case interviews and field survey. But there is rare thesis can link the quantitative research with the qualitative research.This thesis is based on the current research achievement and takes quantitative research as the core and qualitative research as the supplement, analyzing the life satisfaction of urban "After 80" employees in Guilin. The research procedure of this thesis is:firstly, by using the collectived data, the author analyzes current situation of urban "After 80" employees from the following aspects:work, family, entertainment, interpersonal relations, social security, social environment and so on. Secondly, this paper tries to find the factors that effect the life satisfaction of urban "After 80" employees by using the quantitative method of analysis of variance and correlation. Thirdly, according to the current situation of urban "After 80" employees and the influence factors of life satisfaction, this paper gives some advices to raise the level of life satisfaction of urban "After 80" employees. The last, the author wants to propose the inadequacy of this paper.The study finds that:on the whole, the urban "After 80" employees basically satisfy their lives. They are most satisfied with harmonious family relation and most unsatisfied with the government policy of regulation and control in property market. The factors influencing the life satisfaction of urban "After 80" employees are gender factors, work factors, family factors, entertainment and interpersonal relations factors, social security factors and social environment factors. Work factors:working condition, income level, woking hours, vocational development, etc. Family factors:marital quality, family relation, housing condition, material condition of family, the pressure of supporting parents and bringing up children, etc. Entertainment and interpersonal relations factors:recreation, friendship, the relation with neighbours, etc. Social security factors:public accumulation found for housing construction, endowment insurance, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, work-related injury insurance, maternity insurance, etc. Social environment factors:price level, the government policy of regulation and control in property market, urban public utilities condition, main political attitude, government image, etc.According to the current situation of urban "After 80" employees and the influence factors of life satisfaction, this paper gives some advices to raise the level of life satisfaction of urban "After 80" employees:at personal level, urban "After 80" employees must to foster a correct outlook on the world and life and correct values, improve the quality in all respests, strengthen competitiveness in social life; at government level, the government should control the price level so as to safeguard the daily lives of people, reform the income and distribution system in order to promote social equity, improve the social security system, build a service-oriented government, etc.
