The knowledge that students should to learn, not just explicit knowledge that who can use language to express, but also should include tacit knowledge that guidance on how to act self-text and so difficult to express. Tacit knowledge focus on the influence of culture and cultivation of the inherent quality of students, and is an indispensable component on develop high-quality personnel. We can see there are missing cases on tacit knowledge in traditional geography class, such as the thinking, ability and skills, etc. are not training exercise. The new Curriculum reform requires higher demand on students in the mastery of tacit knowledge.Digital Geography Laboratories that put into use in the secondary school has undoubtedly opened a vast world in geography education. Digital Geographic lab is equipped with a variety of geographical correlation models, maps, and along with the latest digital planet system. It can let students have a more intuitive geographical knowledge, also can increase students classroom participation,which greatly changed the way of students learn geography.This article is based on digital geography laboratory. The tacit knowledge about geography is closely related to digital geography lab. By sorting out the literature about tacit knowledge and geography lab-teaching experiment, this article gives an analysis about tacit knowledge and tacit knowledge of geography. And the writer proposed classification system of geographical tacit knowledge. Consider of geography courses conducted in the laboratory and the situation of students'access to tacit knowledge, this article through questionnaires and interviews in the form of investigation and then analysis of the date. Compare and analyses the two kinds of schools, have the digital geography lab or not, and find significant difference on grasping of the tacit knowledge of geography. And in the end, make a conclusion on students training. And in order to give a new research perspective on promote the lab and the tacit knowledge of geography.
