Mind Mapping is a concrete way of divergent thinking. It has been gradually accepted and applied to teaching. It is now one of the ways to promote students' effective learning in the process of combining information technology with curriculum. And it has become an important tool for developing and cultivating students' thinking quality, and guiding students' innovation.This essay is dedicated to exploring the usage and study of Mind Mapping at home and abroad through the research into the necessity of using Mind Mapping in Politics teaching. Its theoretic basis, characteristics, application principles, and application strategies are to be analyzed.
