| As an integral group of principals, female principals play an important role in educational administration activities. However, compared with male principals, the overall pisition of female principals still lowly.Female principals in rural areas,as an important component of elementary and middle school principals, facing the same situation in their growth process.And because of historical and other reasons, they will face more pressure and resistance during their growth process. So at this stage,with rural female principals as the research object,can promote the development of rural female principals,then promote the development of rural education to achieve balanced development of compulsory education,and can promote diversified development of educational management theory.In this thesis, author collected relevant information of the growth of the three principals mainly through interviews,and get some conclusion from their interviews information as follow:just like the male principals,the growth of the female principals in rural areas also experience:preparation of profession period, adaptation period, competent period, maturity period etc. four growth periods.However, due to the short working time, although some female principals it is retiring can not enter maturity period;during their growth process, rural female principals all experience the conflict and balance between the role of women and principal;The support of husband and parents is an important factor in the growth of female principals;School environment is also play an important role in the growth process of female principals.The third part of this thesis is further analysis the factor which hamper the growth of female principals in rural areas.Mainly from social environment and school environment and other external factors which insufficient attention to women's development. And some internal factors such as female's self-consciousness is not strong, the ambivalence between the motivation to be a leader and maintaining femininity, traditional gender roles constraints on women themselves. For the two mainly factors,the fourth chapter of this thesis presidents three suggestions to help the growth of rural female principals.First, Improve the external environment and the organizational system of rural female principals.Second,optimal employment mechanism.Third,improve their own quality of female principals. |
