In the current major issues in the field of education in China,the professional development of principals is an important part to be solved urgently.The professional development of principals is a prominent factor that has an important impact on the current education reform.As far as China's current situation is concerned,a large part of the overall level of China's education reform depends on the quality of rural school education and teaching reform.The quality of rural school education and teaching reform is directly related to the professional development of rural school principals.It can be seen from this that it is of great theoretical and practical significance to probe into the theoretical basis and practical methods of the professional development of rural school principals.Through a case study of a rural primary school principal's professional development,the researcher divides his development experience into four stages: preparation stage,adaptation stage,development stage and maturity stage.He combs his professional development process through interviews,analyzes the internal and external factors that affect his professional development,and puts forward some measures that can promote the professional development of rural primary school principals In order to achieve the purpose of providing reference for the professional development practice of other rural school principals,we should take targeted countermeasures.
