The signification of ethnic group includes some aspects as follow:Firstly, ethnic group is a group, it is distinguished by one or more clear characters, and the characters is called "zu"; Secondly, ethnic group is a more stable group which develops for a long-term in history, but its boundary has being always in changing; Finally, in the process of social interaction the group is maintained through the exclusion, and formed its own identity to distinct from other groups. So, in essence it is a classification concept. Ethnic identity refers to the individual's consciousness on the group's beliefs, attitudes, and recognition of their ethnic identity. Although the scope of the study of ethnic identity is population, but it's still aimed at the individual, focusing on individual's psychological state in the process of its interaction with the internal and external group members. The research of the ethnic identity of students in Hui Han residential area is also a study about the Hui youth individual within the scope of ethnic group, to discuss the role of education in the formation and development of Hui youth ethnic identity, and the ethnic identity state of Hui youth under the influence of various factors. The ethnic identity of the Hui youth is not only influenced by the young school education, but also by a double discipline of family education and Jingtang education; not only an objective process but also the result of subjective choices.First of all, family education played a key role on the formation of the Hui students' ethnic identity. From branding the group members in their early age, to guidance and constraint group behavior after sensible, as well as some subtle effect of group ritual, the youth not only awares of ethnic objective characteristics, but also forms of a certain ethnic group behavior, and gradually develop a groups habit, builds the foundation for the future development of ethnic identity. However, different Muslim families on the different ways of youth education, resulting in the different recognition ways of young people, then the impact on the long-term development of their ethnic identity can not be ignored.Second, the school education has a certain guide function in ethnic identity development of young people. In terms of the overall school environment, government policy provides equal education right to minorities, the young people of Hui in schools can accept non-discriminatory education, but in a particular context, the Hui and Han students were distinguished, In this process, some students will have self-protection in ethnic groups, all these things influence adolescent ethnic identity development from many fields. Finally, the Jingtang education comes into our vision as a feature of Muslim education, its impact on the ethnic identity of Hui young people also can not be ignored. As a special religious education, the Jingtang education makes young people a clearer understanding of their own ethnic groups, has more knowledge and more accepts of their ethnic groups in their spare time, and promotes youth ethnic identity in the objective. But we also should see, the Jingtang education as a form of education is not perfect, there are still many places such as boring old content education, educational methods monotonous, the lack of educational resources and other issues need to be improved.Under the influence of this triple education, the young people are becoming more mature. In the process of their ethnic identity continuous development, the youth is integrated various factors, self-selection of their own ethnic identity. These choices include the four strategies, namely, ethnic culture integration with the mainstream culture and ethnic culture identity strategy, the pursuit of worldly success of the assimilation policy, isolation recognition strategies after the academic failure and the evasive negative marginalization identity strategies.
