With the development of society and the adjustment of industrial structure,as well as the arrival of globalization and information era,the industry and enterprises need more and more talents with broad and solid basic knowledge.For the students of secondary occupation school,having only one kind of skill is not enough any more for their lifetime career.The phenomenon of the paying much attention on professional courses and little on culture courses must be changed.Under this situation,a new curriculum reform of vocational education courses was launched in Shanghai since September 2015,aiming to raise the attention of schools,teachers and students to the cultural courses,and to improve students' overall culture level,not only to cultivate high-quality skilled talents required in the future,but also to lay the foundation for the lifelong development of students.The new curriculum reform of vocational education courses is not only a revolution of secondary occupation education,but also an opportunity to promote the development of culture courses education and professional development of teachers in secondary vocational schools.How to take advantage of this opportunity to make a professional development plan suited to the curriculum reform is required to be thought carefully.This theme takes a secondary occupation school in Shanghai as example,with professional development of mathematics teachers as the research object.Through literature research,interview and questionnaire,the opinions of subject experts,school leaders,mathematics teachers,professional teachers and students were studied and analyzed to find the influence factor,and suggestions were provided to promote the profession development of the mathematics teachers in secondary occupation school.
