Religion revival has surged worldwide since 1970s and the believers of Christianity, Islamand Buddhism increased dramatically in recent years. It can be attributed to the political, economic, cultural, and social change, etc. Among the many reasons, the unique religioneducation and transmission mode play a very important role. With belief education as the core,"universal love" education ideas and humanities concern for the principles, religion educationand the strong adaptation of religion itself, vigorous promotion by religion figures and positivebearing of religious festivals eventually make religion, the social phenomenon, survive thevicissitudes and thrive continuously. It provides us much thought-provoking reflection on theideological and political education in China's universities and colleges. The ideological and political education proposed in our country should focus on theimportance of promoting national spirit in belief education, carry forward the "universal love"ideas, and highlight humane care to the main body of education. It is expected to define real lifeworld as its content and form, actively cultivate "missionary" educators and strive to organicintegration of ideological and political education and traditional Chinese festivals.
