Discussion About The College Students' Life-oriented Ideological And Political Education

As the constructer and successor of socialism with Chinese characteristics,college students need not only cultural and scientific quality, but also lofty politicalquality. Therefore, how to enhance the education in ideology and politics has alwaysbeen the key point in theory horizon. Currently, in the ideological and politicaleducation of college students, the limitation of education method makes theretrogradtionen mood and alienation exist in students who can hardly accept theideological and political education and the internalization phenomenon problem isvery serious, which cause the ideological and political education not last for a longtime and be unsatisfactory. So far, Caring life and implementing into life are new hottopic of education. Some preconditions should be finished first in order to strengthenthe ideological and political education's attraction and promote its pertinence andeffectiveness. At the beginning, the ideological and political education should bebased in the college students'social life and take their daily life as the center.Moreover, highlighting college students'prominent positions and taking Ideologicaland Political Education as a part of life could resonate with students, which will servelife and lead life.This paper takes college students as its main body by making daily life as centerto discuss how to operate ideological and political education in daily life. It analyzesthe background and research situation at home and abroad to make structure of relatedtheory and defines some conceptions such as ideological and political education togive rise to definition of ideological and political education and make theoreticalfoundation of this essay. Operating ideological and political education in daily life isimportant as it could help students interested in study; improve the specifics ofideological and political education and fitting in the requirements for college students.At present, undertaking ideological and political education in daily life is confrontedwith problems from four aspects: first one is the target of it is out of the actual life;second one is the content and knowledge of this education do not combine with actuallife; then the problem is teaching approach is quite monotonous; last but not least,assessment system of this education is far away from actual life. Therefore, in order topromote pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education, fourmeasures respectively should be taken: firstly it is essential for teachers to adjust theteaching target and focus on the real life; then, enriching the teaching content andgetting closer to students'life should be finished; thirdly improving the methodology and combining teaching with life are quite important and last one is to complete theassessment system which plays a crucial role to mobilize students'initiative.Consequently, taking actions from the four aspects above could persistently completethe mechanism of operating ideological and political education in daily life. Also, itcould facilitate the effectiveness of college students'ideological and politicaleducation and enhance their all-round development.
