Along with the rapid economic development and well-developed communication technology, the speed of updating and transmission knowledge is becoming more advance, people living in the new century are demanded higher talent, they need to face and deal with large amounts of informations, make repeated judgments and choices in such a large existence of multiple choices and life to reflect their own ideas and progress. They need for such a capability to support that way of thinking - that is Critical Thinking. However, looking at the current basic education curriculum, we would find a lot of problems impeding students'development of critical thinking. For this case,this study would make a research of development of critical thinking in a view of a curriculum adaption.The paper makes a survey in a high school of Wuhan,Hubei province by using literature-analyzing method and questionnaire to discusse the adaptation of critical thinking development in Literature And Language Course.In this research the author find that the adaptation of critical thinking development in Literature And Language Course lie in general level because of the great impacts of the college entrance examination,main in:(1) Political and Instrumental use of teaching materials will restrict the development of critical thinking of students;(2) Tteaching methods used by teachers to stimulate students'interest in learning will not necessarily create problems awareness of students;(3) Under the situation of science over-attention and liberal arts less-attetion,science students might be detrimental to the development of critical thinking;(4) The double evaluation system of the result-valued college entrance examination and the process-valued evaluation in ordinary class, might increase burdens on students and teachers, and not conducive to students'development. To solve these problems,the author believes that beside the pace accelerating of the college entrance examination reform,there are some ways in addition. Teachers are not only needed to making full use of the existing curriculum resources,and using appropriate teaching methods to train critical thinking ability of students, but also guiding their students to form a rational view of the relationships amoun high school study, their own development and the college entrance examination.Due to the reseach time and limitation of data,as well as the feature differences between different places,the conclusion of the researh will be different and limited. The author will increase the number of samples and enhance a comparation world view,and anticipate the deppening process of basic education curriculum reform. Whatever,for both development of students and sustainable development of socilty ,the cultivation of critical thinking is very valuable.
