A Comparative Study On Presidents'management Belief Of Universities Both At Home And Abroad

University president is a special group.They are high intelligence, task weight, pressure and responsible for millions of families's fervent hope in China. University Presidents of China has never been short of attention, Research on the University President until the end of this paper is constantly refresh.Interviews about university presidents are countless. However,once these interviews were made to the text, they were set aside.Few people are made depth analysis on these,and wasting a lot of information. This article is based on this point, choosing two well-known representative of the Foreign University Presidents Interview,using content-analysis method and ideal-type method from four dimensions and more than 20 themes to dig them.In counting and analyzing Chinese and Foreign University Presidents'Interview,we found Chinese presidents'school governance idea are university president is the educator and statesman;to put legal status of the university into effect; university autonomy and academic freedom; university should serve the community; professional education and quality education should be integration; rely on school teachers; International education.While foreign university presidents'school governance ideal are focus on university autonomy and uniqueness; chancellor is a social activist and coordinator;focus on students'diversity; Strategic direction; the pursuit of excellence; managing university; General Education.Puting Chinese and Foreign University Presidents'governance idea into two Higher Education system-Roman education system and Anglo - Saxon education system,we summarize and analyze their core concept,then we found Chinese university presidents'core idea are professional education and quality education should be integration; Principals are politicians;university should remove Administrative,While foreign university presidents'core idea are university autonomy and academic freedom; chancellor is a social activist;General Education.They have similar idea,they are university autonomy and academic freedom; university should serve the community; International education; rely on school teachers; general education and professional education should be integration.At last, this article gives some suggestions,such as Upholding academic freedom; Adhere to international education; Adhere to the characteristics of the school; Adhere to the Quality Education; Adhere to democratically managing university.
