At present, cultural industry has been promoted to be the strategic industry in China. Art talents are needed by our society increasingly as our Party and country pay more attention to the cultural cause. Art students have an encounter with their development. What's more, since our society and our parents care more for the implementation of quality education, the number of art students has gone up to a certain extent. Considering school choice, some of them choose to go to Senior High schools for further education as their main destinations, while some others prefer to go to secondary schools for their future jobs. Compared with most senior high schools and some secondary schools, secondary schools have more advantages in those majors like dancing, acrobatics and model whose art life seems to be extended. They will perform on the stage four and five years earlier than other students. Therefore, the number of art students in secondary schools and the quality of them has increased year after year. How do we improve the quality of art students has become a new research topic.Different strategies should be applied to adjust to the student management as art students have their own characteristics. The writer comes to learn and study the current situations the art students facing in order to present the relevant strategies. In order to have a clearer understanding of the art students, psychological test system proposed by Zheng Richang from Beijing Normal College has been applied. Many questionnaires have been chosen, such as moral judgment among students; students temperament; students introversive and extroversive; students self-confidence; students will; the mental adjustment; students interest scale; Innovative Spirit Investigation Questionnaire; study methods; Study attitude and SCL—90, etc. Scientific studies and researches related to students'personality, sentiments, study and morality have been extended among many majors like music, dancing, model and professional etiquette and so on. Those suggested that students at secondary schools have got so many different characteristics from students at senior high schools. Their affection is rich. They have got active thinking. Their personality is aggressive. They are good at their majors. All of them are their advantages. However, they have got some disadvantages. They always lose their temper and they are weak in common subjects. We have not found out some useful and relative strategies towards their characteristics and we still have a lot of difficulties in contemporary management system, management adaptability and relative strategies.In view of these investigation results, according to the work experience and thinking at Qingdao Art school, this article help people change their manage concepts in harmonious and united ways. We will optimize our management system from shorten levels of management and combination of teaching and managing. According to the effective management methods in school culture, emotion management and independent management, some relative strategies have been presented for art students at secondary schools.
