Research On Teacher Education Of Science And Technology Universities

With the knowledge economy age coming, the new wave of technological revolution swept, sharp increase in the total of scientific knowledge, professional knowledge obsolescence cycles continue to shorten, people thirst for knowledge is also growing desire, the concept of one-time ending of education is being gradually replaced by the concept of lifelong education. At this point, the concept of higher education plays a very important role in lifelong education, and university teachers are the main force to promote the modernization of education and improve the quality of education, therefore, the key point is to improve teacher education under the environment of learning society. The universities of science and engineering bear the arduous task in the development of the society, most of the universities of science and engineering has made a great contribution to scientific research and other aspects of the local economy.This paper studies the teacher education in science and engineering , which entry point is university teacher education. First, this study discusses the sources and background, purpose and significance, the main method during this study, Elaborated the status of domestic and foreign teacher education research . Secondly, discuss the related theories of teacher education of science and engineering universities clearly and define the concept and the types of university teacher education, and analysis the theory of teacher education in science and engineering ,which can be used to solve the problems on science and engineering teacher education. Again, analysis the status of teacher education of science and engineering, then illustrate the problem through survey data, next find out the countermeasures based on a careful analysis of data and research that causes the problem. Finally, the writer will propose solutions to teacher education in science and technology university, including, changing attitudes and methods, building model for teacher education of science and engineering universities, the content of teacher education reform, the establishment of universities for science and engineering characteristics of the system of teacher education, improve the system of science and engineering universities'teacher education.Studies which are made by the actual empirical analysis give the practical value of gift to this study and hope to be a positive effect to teacher education.
