Nowadays, the attention of higher education is focused on the students or concentrated in the work of teachers.they always ignore the teacher job satisfaction. But the teacher's job satisfaction has been thought as a very important part in the school management by the manager. How to improve teacher's job satisfaction? It has become a big problem to the school.In allusion to the actual characteristic of job satisfaction, this article investigates the evaluation method of teacher's job satisfaction; this research is based on the broad survey and deep analysis to the evaluation method of teacher's job satisfaction. With the help from my supervisor,through several modification,the author set up the teacher's job satisfaction evaluation index system and design the questionnaire named《the teacher's job satisfaction survey for the Huazhong university of science and technology》.Using the self-made questionnaire for university-faculty job-satisfaction, the author investigates 122 university teachers in the HUST.Do the reliability analysis and t-test by the SPSS 13.0 for windows.Based on the index system,using level analysis method to make certain the weight of the each index.Using the multilevel fuzzy integrative evaluation method, we can appraise teacher's job satisfaction in HUST.The final result of this investigation is in middle lever.Use an analytical of the matrix of the single-item index sign analysis method to find the advantage index ,the problem index ,the maintenance index ,the index need to improve, and carried on analysis to the index sign. We find the most important index is the equity on the performance appraisal, it will directly affect the entire job satisfaction results direction.Based on the above results, the author makes the following suggestions: improving the evaluation mechanis,reinforcing the system of incentives,carrying Humanistic management.Those three aspects of the management has put forward to improve teacher satisfaction, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the school.
