The change of population professional structure is one important variable of modern demographic transition. The transition of modern population career of Zhejiang is caused by many factors. First, for example, the emergence of industrialization and urbanization make the dual social structure gradually form and the new careers and economic opportunities are appeared in the towns at the same time.What is more, the decline of rural economy and farmers' becoming more poverty, so the rural people are forced to flow into the city for livings; Moreover, as the traffic gets improvement, which makes the closed society establish connection with the outside; Finally, the modern development of education provides people with new thoughts, new concepts, new knowledge and new skills to adapt to the needs of new careers. Among the mentioned factors influenced the professional transition of Zhejiang modern population, the new education, especially, the vocational education is undoubtedly one of direct driving forces.The creation and development of the vocational education have a close relationship with the population career transition. The modern vocational education in Zhejiang province has a tight relationship to economic change. The changes in employment structure undoubtedly impact the courses and the scale at vocational schools. The Zhejiang modern population's professional transitions mainly concentrate in urban areas, and at the same time urbanization and industrialization are also the preliminary factors. Therefore, the research of the Zhejiang modern population's professional transition and education in this dissertation is mainly concerned with the urban population and the vocational education in the town.This article is composed mainly by four major parts. The first part is background introduction. This part outlines the social and economic changes and the population flow of urbanization in the structure of Zhejiang province. The second part analyses the development and changes of the employment structure in late Qing dynasty and republic of china period. The third part discusses the rise and development of the vocational education in Zhejiang province in four parts, which includes the rise of the vocational education in Qing dynasty; the rapid development of the vocational education in the republic of china period; the adjustment and reform in the period of "renxu system"; the recovery and development in the war of resistance Japan. Vocational education system is gradually improved from the original "agricultural capitalism" to "mercantilist", and then to the period of agricultural, industrial, commercial and medical in the 1930s. The fourth part is based on these three parts' analysis and finds the interactive relationship between employment changes and vocational education in Zhejiang. On the one hand, population changes in the structure of employment for vocational education needs a new talent, which affectes the aim of vocational education and promotes the structural adjustment and integrity. At the same time, this change determines the pecifications and models of vocational education to a certain extent. On the other hand, the continual development and integrity improve the rationalization of employment structure in Zhejiang.
