The Study Of Present Situation And Strategies About Tennis Selective Event Course In Universities In Fujian Province

At present, the PE optional course is the most primary PE Teaching Organization Form in China. Tennis optional course plays a very important role in physical education. It is also the most important activity for university students, the primary content of the college campus culture as well as the bridge to exchange the academic experience, enhance the friendship and disseminate the culture. The article conducts investigation and research of the current situation which connects with teaching, teachers, students, playground and sport apparatus of the tennis optional courses in college in Fujian province through Document-data method, The Survey Method, Method of mathematical statistics and Logic analysis.The result indicates that:1.73.7 of the tennis teachers in college aren't professional.2.Some colleges don't offer the tennis optional course though college students are fond of it.3.The quality of the tennis teaching can't be guaranteed because of the shortage of teaching hours.4.The course content is too easy for students:5.Teaching organization form needs to be variety.6.The teachers select the teaching materials and relevant materials by themselves.7.The main obstacle of developing tennis optional course is short of funds, playground and sports apparatusThe strategies:1. Renew the ideas and embody the characteristics of the times.2. Advance the development of the tennis and enhance the recognition.3. Improve teaching staff quality and their professional skills.4. Strengthen the construction of tennis playground and sport apparatus.5. Raise the understanding of tennis and cultivate the students'interest in tennis.6.
