Research On The Status And Strategies Of The Farmer Training In Huai'an

China is a large agricultural nation in which agricultural population accounts for more than 70% of the total population.That is,the overall quality of farmers directly determines the quality and level of national development.The issue of farmers are fundamental in 'Three Rural Issues'. Additionally, rural progress, agricultural development together with farmers'increasing income, ultimately depends on the progress of farmers, while the progress of farmers ultimately depends on the education and training that serve for farmers.With the analysis of experience and situations at home and abroad, the study systematically explains the farmers training on the basis of actual situations and prospects of rural development in Huaian. Meanwhile, it provides certain comments and suggestions to make best of the farmer training which makes vital differences in rural economy and social progress.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part describes the backgrounds, purposes and meanings, clarifies the overview and methods and makes fundamental preparation for this very research. The second part is theory basis and related concepts of the farmer training, including human capital theory, new economic growth theory, economic theory of education, lifelong education theory. The third part analyzes the current situation of farmers'character with methods of interview and survey and expounds the current training requirements in Huaian with on such sides of farmers'awareness of training, participation purposes and training demand,etc.The forth part mainly analyzes key effects of current the farmer training, together with the demand of the farmer training in Huaian which is based on these views including the base,trainee,scale,mode and pattern etc.The fifth part indicates problems of current the farmer training such as excessive concentration of training institution,rare training resource and Bull management and monotonous training contents and methods. The sixth part it provides strategies and suggestions to ensure efficient, sustained and the farmer training.Based on theoretical and empirical analysis over the farmers training, the conclusions are as follows:Firstly, despite of the relative improvement of farmers'character and education, the overall level of farmers'quality is still poor; Secondly, it is found that the majority of farmers have realized the importance of training, which is thought as the fundamental way to improve their own character, and strongly request more efficient training; Secondly, there are so many problems of the farmer training that it is quite necessary to improve training system, make best of education resource and reform training courses.
