As the world is going into the "information" age, knowledge is more and more important for both Corporate and national. On the one hand, the new knowledge is the key advantage for companies to compete for market; on the other hand, the new knowledge reflects national innovative capacity. Beside, universities which are a major source of new knowledge play an important role in promoting knowledge innovation; more and more companies become partners of universities. Therefore, universities are playing an increasingly important role in the development of national economic. What's more, because R&D activities need to have researchers with different disciplines, university R&D team becomes the main form of organization to research and study.If we can find the ways to efficiently promote knowledge transfer within university R&D team, then knowledge creation and technological innovation can be promoted, to find the ways, these questions should be figure out:Which factors impact the knowledge transfer within university R&D team? Which factors are playing the crucial role in promoting knowledge transfer within university R&D team? How can we use these key factors to promote knowledge transfer within university R&D team? Therefore, first of all, we identify the impacting factors through literature review of domestic and foreign, and then we choose 12 representative opinions from four university R&D teams with different disciplines, use ISM method and MICMAC method to analyze the data, we find that knowledge transfer degree, capability of communication, psychological distance, and the construction situation of knowledge network communication platform are the key factors impact knowledge transfer within university R&D team. Secondly, according to the result of ISM method and MICMAC method, hypotheses proposed model can be proposed, and then we expand the number of survey subjects from the chosen four different disciplines, use SEM model to analyze the data. The hypothesis will be tested. Finally, this study would provide the worthy scientific reference in making decision to promote knowledge transfer within university R&D team.
