Studies On The College Students' Socialist Democracy

Democracy is a social state as well as a political system. Democracy has a different form of society. The realization of democracy is different from one social formation to another. In a socialist society, it is democracy that people's rights can be achieved, people's will and desire are fully expressed, enthusiasm and creativity are fully played, related social practices are protected, people participate and manage the state affairs in according to the principle of democratic centralism. Democracy outlook is the people's attitudes, opinions and views on the democratic theory, knowledge systems, practice forms, trends and a series of related concepts. In this paper, college students' socialist democracy outlook is to instill the concept of socialist democracy in the minds of college students during the process of ideological and political education, which was established on the basis of a series of democratic values that combined with contemporary conditions under guidance of Marxism-Leninism, MAO Zedong thought and the Chinese characteristic socialism society theory system. China is at the stage of political reform and college students are to undertake the task of national socialist construction, so the research of college students' socialist democracy outlook is very important.The recent advances of the theory of socialist democracy were summarized. From the viewpoint of socialist democracy connotation, the essence of socialist democracy, the properties of socialist democracy, the realization forms of socialist democracy and the important practices of socialist democracy were described, which were used as the basis of thesis. Then, the development college students' socialist democracy outlook was investigated through interviews and questionnaires, and the factors that affect college students' socialist democracy outlook were also concluded, including complex social environment, weak democratic atmosphere on campus and biased cognition of democracy. Correspondingly, the cultivation measures of socialist democracy outlook of college students were proposed according to the above results, including the construction of good social and campus democracy environment and the establishment of a scientific system of democratic ideas, which make some contribution for the cultivation of college students' socialist democracy outlook.
