On Psychological Education For The Elderly From The Perspective Of Lifelong Education

The population aging problem is becoming a main and important issue all over the world nowadays. Our nation has been in this stage since the year of 2000.At present, there are almost 200 million aged men in our country totally. But, by the end of 2050, the number will raise to 430 million. So it is very necessary for us to study the building of education for the old. In the matter of fact, the education for the old should be a key part in the lifelong education system of our country. Among this, the study on old people's psychology is essential. As the time goes by, more and more old people suffer a lot from mental diseases, so we should be more active in studying the rules and features about the psychology education for the old people to make more old people can have better later years.This paper can be divided into three parts:In the first part, the author states the characteristics and features of the lifelong education, the significance of studying psychology education for the old people, the main functions of psychology education for the old people in the whole lifelong education and the importance of developing psychology education for the old people.In the second part of the thesis, the key problems of psychology education for the old people in our country are mainly discussed. The author talks about this issue from the outside factors to the inside factors, that is, the government, communities, families, and the old people themselves, etc.In the last part, the specific strategies are mentioned directly. According to the problems above, the author analysis the strategies from different factors, including government supporting, communities caring and family loving and so on.
