This contemporary western gender theory as a starting point to analyze the formation of our long-standing tradition of gender-neutral education, especially school education, the gender inequality. Gender equality is the core of today's concept of the pursuit of equality in education, one of China's educations in the pursuit of gender equality on the road has gone through over half a century, and how to eliminate school education at the micro level, gender inequalities implicit have become today new educational theory issues facing the Institute.Firstly, both from the perspective of psychology and contemporary feminist gender theory in Western schools and educational point of view was a simple sort, introduces the psychology and feminist theory in a few relatively very representative of the genre and their point of view. They are the psychological stages of development in gender theory, gender theory and gender characteristics of two-way social learning theory, and feminist theories in the liberal feminism, radical feminism and Marxist feminism. On this basis, then the purpose of education, educational content and educational process, and several other aspects of our long-standing tradition of gender-neutral education is analyzed, noting that education is a neglected concept of the gender differences were only emphasizes the gender identity, gender equality in the abstract sense of the concept, but in practice there are also promoting women in male-centrism and neglect of gender issues that led to the two gender groups, men and women still are not in education equal status. This paper further points out the essence of gender-neutral education under the patriarchal power structure in the field of education in social and cultural reflection of its existence not only to the free development of children had a negative impact, and value orientation of education in China has produced academic research and education had a profound impact.Through analysis and research, this paper argues the education systems of education reform must be assigned to gender awareness, women in education to give more attention to promote the formation of men and women in education equality. In addition, the education reform needs to draw on gender theory in the Western ethic of care theory point of view.
