Mathematical thoughts and methods are souls of mathematics. Mastering the basic mathematical thoughts and methods, students can put forward questions, thinking about the questions and solve the questions in a mathematical way. Thus, they can acquire knowledge actively and explore new knowledge creatively and truly master the subject of mathematics.How to comply with the requirements of the times, improve the efficiency of learning in class, and help students solve the questions using mathematical thoughts and methods to achieve the aims of learning efficiently has become a problem to be solved immediately for high school teachers.The essay induces several common mathematical thoughts and methods via starting from theoretical research on them and according to the author's teaching experience. The author has also made preliminary statistics on the concerning mathematical thoughts and methods. The author has made some suggestions on this by analyzing the infiltration of the application of the mathematical thoughts and methods and has elaborated some principles and ways to complete the research of theoretical system of mathematical thoughts and methods. Finally, the author has answered the question of how to combine the mathematical thoughts and methods with the mathematical teaching material in high school and has carried out some experiments.
