In recent years, the reform of Chinese pre-school education has made greater strides, especially since the Ministry of Education in 2010 issued a "long-term reform and development of national guidance, 2010-2020", which elevates the development of pre-school education to a very important position and imposes higher requirements as well. Reflecting on the current pre-school education, despite many encouraging results, we still face many difficulties and some urgent problems. One problem is that today's special "One Child" phenomenon has caused a number of educational challenges. Since each family has paid too much attention to the only child, most parents even the grandparents have been doing the work or acting on their behalf frequently. Thus the self-management skills in young children decreased significantly. In China, there is little literature on pre-school education for the young children to be self-manageable, not to mention the study on this issue from the perspective of the ecological education. In this paper, through literature review, interviews and other methods of investigation, I would like, from the perspective of ecological education, to optimize the effects of a variety of strategies enhancing the self-management skills for the children and to change the current status quo that children's self-management skills are generally not strong.Based on the analysis of the problems in the current pre-school education caused by the special nature of the targets, the paper found that teachers have used relatively simple methods to enhance children's self-management capabilities. For example, they often use the simple way of preaching to improve children's self-management capabilities; children are always in passive positions, which not only decreases the effectiveness of education, but also causes some of the hidden conflicts between teachers and the parents; when developing young children's self-management skills, teachers often lay emphasis on skills building but neglect the children's emotional self-control abilities. All these have resulted in the current inconsistency between schools and families on the recognition of the importance of the child self-management skills development, thus affecting the overall development of children's own capabilities.Based on the analysis of the problems and their causes, the paper proposes several effective strategies to enhance pre-school children's self-management ability, through the analysis of ecological theory of education combined with the current education practice and management laws of kindergartens: through the implementation of social role matching games, the integration of home and community activities, and daily life practices, pre-schools can create an eco-friendly environment to elevate the improvement of children's self-management skills in a positive interactive environment.
