With the deepening reform of teaching, Chinese teaching in secondary vocational Schools also becomes an important part of it. Because of the different characteristics of the students and the different training objective, general secondary schools and vocational schools can not be the same. The teaching ways and means should also be different. For our vocational school, located in Qiandeng, which is an ancient town with a long history, should take into account the rich community cultural resources for the positive role of Chinese teaching. In this paper, I apply education, psychology, theory of Chinese courses, and other related theories, through case studies, literature research methods. Firstly analyzing current Chinese teaching status in secondary vocational schools and the reasons for the status, then introducing Qiandeng's major cultural resources, which will lead to the important role played by developing the community cultural resources on Chinese teaching. Then according to the present level of Chinese curriculum resources development, summing up the development forms of community and cultural resources and development strategies of them. At the end of this paper, I specifically refer to the practice of developing community cultural resources, and according to our school's three majors, that is, sub-tourism, art, professional electrician, I design three different teaching cases and making a brief assessment of them, which makes some contributions to developing community resources.
