Many vocational school students have difficulties in study. They are not interested in learning English; they have no proper learning habits and methods. This has been one of the problems troubled English teachers.How to arouse and develop Vocational school students'interests in English learning has always been an important research program for English teachers. Combining with the teaching practice, I take a Changchun Vocational School as a case to analyze the reasons of this problem. In this paper I begin with a brief survey of the domestic and foreign teaching strategies on how to stimulate students'learning interests, and then by conducting a questionnaire and a face-to-face discussion, try to find out the main reasons why the students lack interests in learning English and put forward to my own opinions, with the hope that the present research can be helpful for the English teaching in vocational schools.In addition to introduction, this paper is divided into four main parts:PartⅠ:Explain some theories about Secondary Vocational School students' interests in English learning.PartⅡ:Through questionnaire survey and interviews with some students in secondary vocational schools, the characteristics of the analysis, and the current status of secondary vocational schools of English learning analysis.PartⅢ:Analysis the reasons why the students of the Secondary Vocational School lack the interests of learning English.PartⅣ:Put forward some proposals to arouse and develop Vocational school students'interests in English learning.
