At the starting of this century, people give a positive attitude to life education when it turns out to be a kind of education theory. People think that its appearance is necessary and reasonable. They have proved its necessity and validity from the derivation of Chinese philosophy, the demonstration of western philosophy and the problems in education and society fields that China has to face. But the academic and theoretical demonstration can't represent the validity in practice fields. A kind of theory is always restricted by its orientation, may value, practice or regulation. So there will be some differences between theory and practice. When it refers to life education, how do schools carry it out? Are there some differences between life education theory and its practice? If exist, what are the reasons? Are the reasons from faultiness of theory or from the faults of school's practice? Or other reasons?Are these problems can be solved? In a word, dose life education have vitality in school's practice? These questions above-mentioned is what I'm thinking, and also is what will be resolved in this thesis.Luckily, I have found a primary school which has been practicing life education in the help of one of my friends. I wrote this thesis after I had finished research on this primary school. To answer those questions above-mentioned, this thesis is divided to be four parts: the first part is about the background of life education in China; the second part is about this primary school's life education practice; the third part is about rational introspection on differences between life education theory and life education practice; the fourth part is about predication on life education's developing room.From this thesis we can know that life education theory is still necessary and full of vitality in practice. What we shall do in the future is to form a kind of tension force between life education theory and life education practice. Let theory guide practice while practice polish theory. Make sure life education can steadily develop.
