Curriculum reform forward new requirements to learning mathematics: to reduce the student schoolwork burden. The burden of students to study is mainly from the homework after school. In addition, the social informationization is getting more and more higher, which also has the informational requirement to the level of education: to conform subjects and information technology. In consideration of the two, I made about the practice and research of using QQ group to assist grade 7 students with finishing their maths homework. In the process of research, I established the QQ group, formulate rules in talking on QQ, setting up administrators, upload materials, rich QQ space, had a private chat and group chat with students. In the process of the research I use the method of questionnaire, interview method, experimental method for scientific research. The final effectiveness of homework will feedback to the achievement and the interst in learning maths, so the results are valid or if not, according to: 1. the result in talking with students and questionnaire survey; 2. the comparison of the experimental class's achievement and the comparative class's achievement.Through the two stages of research, I found out in this period of 0.75 years(2008,9----2009,6), the assistant of QQ group to grade 7 students with their math's homework is not obvious, and there is no significant differences from the comparative class and the experimental class. I also found out that the attitude from students and the middle-aged teacher in charge of the experimental class are completely different: students welcome the QQ group, but the teacher in charge against; in this period of 2 months(2009,9----2009,11), the assistant of QQ group to grade 7 students with their math's homework is obvious, but there is also no significant differences from the comparative class and the experimental class. However, I found that the attitude from students and the young teacher in charge of the experimental class are the same: students welcome the QQ group, and the teacher in charge support.
