| Higher education self-study exam is a national examination for the public. It is a form of examination which combines self-study, social assistance and national examination, and it is a part of national higher education system. Exam papers making is the core of self-study exam, which represents and reflects the training objectives and examination standards and decides the quality of self-study exam.The first part of the paper is the introduction part, which refers to the background of the study, the aim and significance of the study, and the research methods of the study. The second part of the paper mainly talks about the current situation of self-study exam in S province and points out three problems in exam paper making: how to select the exam paper makers, how to make the test syllabus, and how to secure the examination. The third part analyzes the reasons of the problems in exam paper making in S province. The fourth part provides some solutions and suggestions to the problems. First, build an exam paper making committee which consists of full-time and part-time personnel. Second, improve the quality of exam paper makers. Third, grasp the standards and transform from experience to science. Fourth, standardize the management of exam paper making. |
