With the rapidly development of information, science and technology, and so on, our society has undergone tremendous change. It has evolved from a paper times into an informationization, the digital age. Information technology becomes more widely penetration to education, economic and political fields. E-learning technologies promote the education reformation. There is a growing concern about the application of information technology in education, teaching and so on.Social software is a kind of application software built on the computer network and information technology, it can reflect the social relations of the formation and development in real life, it can promote interpersonal contacts between people. QQ, Blog and other popular social software for dynamic, open and interactive features, breaking time and space constraints, widely used in primary and secondary social interaction, they achieve a real-time communication between parents, teachers, student , and become a useful complement to traditional interactive. The empirical analysis concludes that the school provide students the opportunity to access social software; When students use social software, teachers, parents should give help; When you needed to use social software, pay attention to the design of the interface, from the perspective of students selected interactive topics, etc. These strategies help to promote social software in schools in the role of social interaction.This paper begins by describing the content, development and classification of social software, so we have a deep understanding of social software; and analyzed the definition and classification of social interaction, and discusses the role of the level and means of social interaction in the school education.Then,describes the six degrees of separation, rule of 150, group dynamics, interpersonal relations, provides a theoretical support of social software for primary and secondary social interaction.Finally,this research studies on social software, through literature research, questionnaires, interviews and other research methods, obtained the applications of social software in the contemporary primary and secondary schools. And analyzed the advantages of social software by example, also analyze its shortcomings in the application process. And the targeted discusses how to do to make social software can better service for the primary and secondary schools social interaction, make social software to really play to their strengths in the primary and secondary education.
