Family education related to children's growth, national destiny and national rise and fall, junior high school students are in the second growing stage, and it's necessary to provide good family education to high school students. However, our rural family education of middle school students has lots of problems, such as, rural parents pay more attention to score rather than moral education, they teach children over-reliance on schools and teachers, their education concepts are backward, education methods are unscientific, and parent-child relationship is nervous because of miscommunication. It is necessary to do researches on rural family education of middle school students, because many bad phenomena, such as rural left-behind phenomena and drop-out multiplied, the new "study useless" in rural sparring, The subject of family education for children is not only mother but also father.Nowadays, more studies have the trend to turn to fathers both at home and at abroad. This study has lots of benefits. It's not only beneficial in helping middle students'healthy growth, promoting the healthy growth of the family and the development of harmonious society, optimizing education resources, but also improving the quality of rural education, enriching the connotation of father involvement, and providing empirical experience for paternal. The research starts in the basic of the domestic and foreign relevance, makes rural middle school students'father in Yangling as investigation object, researches their participation in junior high students'family education. In the paper we know that rural fathers'role concept and educational concept is scientific because their wives and parents prefer to encourage and support them, but their participation is in a general level with simple participation and single means. On children's education, they mainly concentrated in teaching kids the principles and taking care of children's learning, but they are unable to participate because of their own reason.The factors that are used to test what affect father's participation are father personal economic characteristics, cultural traits, children's factors, and family factors, which influence most are father's age, cultural degree and economic situation, effect of traditional concepts and family members'factors, while the study verifies the initial assumption one by one.There are many problems in the father participation of rural junior high students'family education. For example, rural fathers'education role is unknown, education concepts exist more disadvantages, father's participation level is general, content is limited and single; fathers pay over-reliance on their wives in participation, and they are in behind-the-scenes. According to these problems, we make some suggestions: the rural father should strengthen themselves, make their education role clearly, build up the scientific education concept, set good example to middle students and pay attention to the middle students, in the family wives and parents should provide technology and spiritual support to father, beside that, society will give support, and correct the guidance of public opinion, establish father's job training system, and make paternal involvement mode in a healthy track.Paternal participation is necessary in social development, and it shows the family research trends. In cities, it has attracted people's attentions, it also requires fathers to participate in the countryside to promote children's healthy growth, enhance families's happiness and social harmony. Improving paternal participation, widely propagandize the importance of participation, we can build the atmosphere that promote paternal participation in society.
