The Study Of Specialty Setting Of Higher Vocational Colleges In Fujian

The specialty setting is not only a connection between the demand of society and teaching work in higher vocational college, but also a key link for colleges to meet the needs of society. If the specialty setting is reasonable, that can better adapt to the socio-economic demand, meanwhile, it also can show the school-running characteristics of higher vocational college and the overall educational level. This essay, at the first, not only points out the problems, connotations, significance and approaches of study in this paper, but also collates the similarities and differences between the higher vocational colleges and institutions of higher learning from its connotation. And then this paper elaborates the basic features, influence factors and the principles of specialty setting etc. By employing the approaches of material analysis, comparison and synthesis, this paper analyses the development course of higher vocational education in Fujian Province and summarizes different characteristics and problems of different stages of higher vocational education. This essay emphasizing on studying the specialty setting of fifty-seven higher vocational colleges and analyses the background and problems in the development of higher vocational education in Fujian province. At last, based on the previous theoretical analysis, the essay proposes some measures to improve the structure of specialty setting of higher vocational colleges in Fujian province.
