History and reality shows that fairness for humans is an eternal topic. From the generation of private ownership to today, the places where there are people and distribution of interest will generate equity issues. Fairness is the basic requirement of social stability and the basis for building a harmonious society. Education fairness belongs to the scope of social equity, also is the core part and the backbone of the social equity, no educational fairness, social equity is out of the question. Throughout the ages, whether the nation or the person, the level of development and level of education are positively correlated relationship. In modern times, there is not industry as the education that concerns closely the future of people and nations. Among them, Entrance Examination is the top priority throughout the education system. But due to the limit of the higher education resources, the interest conflict exists among the different regions and classes, which leads to frequent occurrence of the unfair phenomenon. Entrance Examination System is the guiding principle of allocation of higher education resources, the justice and fairness is also related to the stability and harmony of the social system.To face the status that the communities have a lot of dissatisfaction with Entrance Examination System, this paper selected Entrance Examination System form the recovery of Entrance Examination to today more than 30 years as the research object, designed to explore inherent problems or issues deserving concern of Entrance Examination System from the perspective of fairness. Firstly, according to the context of historical development, the paper divides Entrance Examination System into three stages, the recovery phase, development phase and reform phase, based on the overall understanding of Entrance Examination System, to analyze the fairness of the four main elements composing of Entrance Examination System, the subject setting, test content, enrollment system and the method of admission. Finally, proposed the issues deserving concern of the research and running of Entrance Examination System.
