1992, The State Educational Committee printed and distributed "Nine Year Compulsory education whole-day primary school, the curriculum program in Junior middle school (Trial)" and all kinds of teaching programs (On probation),it marks that the end of thriving situation of the teaching materials of the primary and secondary school in our country, it also marks that the advent of the epoch with "A plan with many "of the textbook. From 1993,there are more than 10 kinds of the textbook of "Chinese" in Junior high school. The attitude is flourishing. The Chinese textbooks are the basis of Chinese teacher and the students. The part of reading also is the main part of the tent. Chinese textbooks. Selection is the main part and it almost covers the selection system, knowledge system, exercise system and Reading assist system. So, in order to compare the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese textbooks, the comparison of the part of reading becomes the indispensable content.This article selects the part of the reading of "Chinese" in Junior high school of Beijing Normal University and People's Education Published to compare and research. Respectively outlines two preparations of concept of textbook, the overview of the part of reading, the characteristics of the reading assist system. The overview of the part of reading also analyzes from the style of part of reading, unit combination to the presentation of the part of reading. On the base, compare their advantages and disadvantages, and propose the ponder profound ponder and suggestions to the selections of the textbook.
