Writing is very important for the curriculum of Chinese in middle school. Cultivating students'interest in writing and enhancing their writing ability is one of the goals of high school Chinese teaching. On one hand, good writing habit can improve students'language comprehension ability and help shape their morality; on the other hand, it is essential both in our studies and future work. However , current writing situation is not as satisfactory. Driven by the pressure of College Entrance Examination (CEE), students can hardly spare any time for their writing training. What's more, students fear and even hate writing because they consider writing practice is unnecessary and they'd rather do more math exercises than write compositions which are not as related to CEE as other subjects. Consequently, their writing is lack of variety ,cold and flat in their choice of words. How to reverse this situation has become an important issue for high school Chinese teaching, which means a lot for reaching the Chinese New Curriculum Standard.This research is done based on the writing situation of Xinxiang No.2 high school and also balances theoretical research with questionnaire survey and takes the New Curriculum Standard of Chinese into consideration for the education departments, Chinese teachers and students'parents to guide students'writing training.This paper comes in four parts: the first part, introduction and literature review. The second part is about the current situation of Chinese writing in Xinxiang No.2 high school and its problems and talks about the purpose of the research and researching methods. The third part focuses on the effect of hot spots of society and school composition teaching on students'writing. The last part puts forward solutions to improve writing ability of high school students. |
